Musician Needed!

I'm currently looking for a talanted musician to help me convert a couple of small loops into something a bit more modern than the original?

Any one up for a challenge? You'll be working only for the fun of it and credit of course.

Let me know if anyone can help, I'd like to knock this one out pretty quick as I've been working on it for nearly 3 weeks now and thats 3 times longer than any previous game I want this game to be great but also want to put it to bed! I'm getting married in less than 3 weeks and I'm sure I wont be allowed to spend so much time dev'ing once that haapens!

anyone who can source some in-game samples (jumping, landing etc) would be good too!

Cheers
Jamie

Hi Jamie,

My name is Joachim Wijnhoven and also previous a C64 freak.
You might know me from the HVSC and/or maybe Protovision?
I don't know if I can help with your project.
I can always give it a try.
Unfortunately I work a bit slow and don't have much audio equipment.
Just curious: What C64 game are you going to remake?
Ok! Hope to hear soon from you!

Hi Joachim,

Thanks for the response, This project now has a musician but can I contact you soon regarding a future idea?

Oh and BTW I love your remix of Turrican 2 on RKO!

Hi Jamie,

Yes just give me a description of the game and maybe you can tell me what kind of music and ideas would fit.
Dees did the remix of Turrican, I did the C64 version. I think I also want to write some remixes but still have to buy some more audio equipment. I want to ask an acquaintance of mine what to buy.
PS. I put your ds game De-lite on my ds but don't get further than the title screen. Tried every button and stylus on touch screen. Do you have any idea why it doesn't work on my ds?

Hi again Joachim,

I'll contact you shortly about the next project, its still away off yet and I need to master the 3d stuff on the PSP first. but hopefully that wont take long.

I did also download the original sid you did which was awesome too.

as for the DS game, are you sure your copying over the correct one for your mod? there should be 3 files in the download, the diffent pass cards etc need different ones.

try one of the others in the zip

Cheers
Jamie

Hi Jamie,

When I compose a tune should it be in WAV, MP3 or OGG format or so?
I will use Renoise to create the zax.

Are there any other sids from me you like?

About De-lite: I tried all 3 files but delite.nds is the only one that works till the title screen.
Hmm! What could be wrong? :)
